About Me

As a twenty year old college student, when I came back home to finish my degree, I quickly became bored. I was laying on the couch and eating potato chips all day or working as a waitress in a local restaurant. My ten year old Australian Shepherd, Pepper, wasn't going to have any of it. If any of you live with an active dog, you know that they don't sit still for long and certainly don't let their owners do so either. We picked up Agility in mid-November and haven't put it down yet!
Waitressing is the worst job ever and my income is ever fluctuating. I have saved enough to set us up with a few obstacles and then to enroll us in a fewAgility Class. If there is any hinderance in my life, it would be waitressing. But it has taught me to be very economical with our equipment. So far, I have built every obstacle myself (minus the tunnel). We have 3 standard jumps, a tire jump, weave poles, a tunnel, and an adjustable teeter. Next will be the dog walk and A-frame.

  1. Hey there! I found your blog through Sybil's message board, which I found by searching "lurcher rescue". I am wondering if you ever found any lurcher rescues? I adopted my lurcher boy from a local humane society, but it was only by chance that he was there.
